Walking through the doors of a new church for the first time doesn’t have to be intimidating. Here’s what you can expect on your first visit to Gillionville Church . . .

Generational Music

We sing our songs to Jesus—not to gather or entertain a crowd. And we choose songs from a rich heritage of worship music, which includes music from previous generations and from today! A variety of instruments, ensembles, and ages lead us in worship each week. We strive to be a family of faith joining together to celebrate the resurrected Jesus!

Biblical Teaching

We teach the Bible with an eye to the original author’s intent (grammatical accuracy) and the original audience’s understanding (historical accuracy). Most of our preaching series will be expository (teaching through an entire book of the Bible) with an emphasis on application to help you grown and thrive in your daily walk with Jesus.

  • Even though most churches will tell you to "come as you are," you never know quite what to expect when you walk through the door. At Gillionville you'll find most people choose casual attire or "business casual" for worship services. We hope you are comfortable however you choose to dress. The important thing is to not let this concern keep you from attending church!

  • Yes! Preschool care will be available at almost every gathering we host. Childcare will always involve introducing your little one to the stories of the Bible in a safe, fun environment. In the event that childcare is ever not available we will communicate that information ahead of time. Remember parents: little ones of all ages are always welcome and wanted in our services.

  • The exterior of each of our buildings are labeled with their area of ministry and activities. Children can be checked in at the “Children’s Building.” Students meet in the “Youth Building.” Social and recreations events generally take place in the “Fellowship Building.” Worship services happen in the “Worship Building.” In the east entrance of our Worship Building you will also find our “First Time Guest” kiosk with maps and church guidebooks detailing where groups and Bible studies meet throughout the week. And always feel free to ask greeters at our entranceways if you need help finding your way around our campus!

  • Parking is available in our east and west parking lots. In addition to handicap parking, you will find parking spots closest to the doors reserved for "first time visitors" and "expectant mothers."

  • Please come on in! We will always try to leave a few seats in the back open for guests who arrive a few minutes late (or even more than a few!). You're never a distraction-we are always glad to see you!

  • An up to date list of all Sunday morning small groups and weekly Bible studies can be found on CHURCH CENTER.

  • We are so glad you asked! We suggest you download our CHURCH CENTER APP on your phone or smart device and register for our next DISCOVER GILLIONVILLE, a seminar for people new to our church. DISCOVER GILLIONVILLE is held every 6-8 weeks on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and is led by one of our pastors. It is the best way to learn about our congregation and ask any questions that are on your mind!
